Dorico vs Finale

Il faudrait plutôt poser la question sur un forum consacré à Dorico !
A priori, vous trouverez ici des spécialistes de finale, c'est certain, mais des spécialistes de Dorico, c'est moins sûr.

Je sais que un certain nombre s'utilisateurs de Finale ont, au moins, essayé Dorico. Je m'adresse à eux.

When you import the XML, Dorico translates what it can into its internal, semantic
notation system. Anything that does not map cleanly is either approximated or
normalized, which is why the imported score looks dierent from the original and
cannot be made “identical” by simple engraving adjustments.
Because of this, there is currently no way to obtain a score that is correct in every way
purely within Dorico, neither by MusicXML import nor by manual correction, if “correct”
means fully faithful to traditional Basler Trommeln notation.
What is realistically possible depends on your goal:
– If you need a playable, rhythmically correct score, Dorico can do that.
– If you need a visually identical, tradition-accurate engraving, Dorico is not the right
tool at the moment.
– If the score is meant for Basler drummers who expect the traditional notation, a
dedicated or legacy notation tool is usually required.
